When hurricanes devastated the Gulf Coast and Puerto Rico in 2017, T-Mobile chose to use its platform as an official sponsor of the MLB Playoffs to power relief efforts and unite fans with purpose.

We conceived and executed #HR4HR as a social campaign where every playoff home run meant a $10K donation from T-Mobile to Team Rubicon to assist with hurricane recovery efforts.

To engage the fans, T-Mobile also pledged $1 for each additional tweet with the hashtag. We supported the campaign in-broadcast and in-stadium with help from MLB players.

#HR4HR raised $2.8M for relief efforts and T-Mobile has continued the campaign in the playoffs ever since. And I scooped a Bronze Clio, so that’s cool too.
